I just ran across this webcomic that is probably old news to some people, but it made me laugh a lot. It's called The DM of the Rings, and it's the Lord of the Rings told through a bunch of tabletop gamers. I know only like two other people on my friends list will "get" this, but there's a hilarious Lord of the Rings/World of Warcraft crossover parody here. I haven't laughed that hard in ages. XD

Go, LotR! Return of the King brought home almost a half dozen Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, and a crapload of effects Oscars. YAY!

In other news, my ear is still driving me nuts. Methinks I'll be heading to the doctor tomorrow if this isn't any better by then. >_< ARG!

I was Neo-Christmas shopping a week or so ago for some gifts for a few friends, and I ran across a "Maverick Baseball Cap" that was a Ski Lodge Mystery contest prize a few years ago. The Christmas Eve insanity is starting. Run for your lives. A two-and-a-half-year-old and a five-year-old at Christmas. Run, run, RUN!!!! O_O LOL! It's Bob the Builder and Dora the Explorer, respectively. ^_^

I cried even worse than usual at church this year. Figures. I always blubber during the finale of "Silent Night."

Hurricane Isabel is making landfall in North Carolina today. Some INCREDIBLE video on TV. Brian Williams was out in the wind on MSNBC and he called over Mike Seidel from the Weather Channel to use his handheld anemometer.
